Casters of Shadows

        This is my baby, my ultimate project, Casters of Shadows. It takes place in a world called Lita which is much like Europe was during the Middle Ages, but magic exists. Magic, however, pales beyond the awesome powers of some special few people known as "Casters." Lita, you see, runs tandem to an alternate dimension, the Showrealm, which is called Tzila (literally means "shadow"). The Casters are those people who can reach into Tzila with their minds and bring back Shadow Objects and Shadow Creatures. Doing this is known as "Casting a Shadow" so those who have this ability are known as "Casters of Shadows" or more simply "Casters."

        The project of turning Casters of Shadows (which is a working title) into a manga is on hold at the moment. The plot and the minor characters are still developing, and trying to start a manga without knowing where it is going is a bad idea. At the moment, I know what will happen, but I only have a vague idea of how it will get there. Think of it as knowing my starting point and my destination, but having no roads between the two on your map. So the manga is on hold, but I will continue to draw more and more pictures for Casters of Shadows. At the moment, I plan on starting work on Casters of Shadows manga after completing a practice manga I have in the works which is based on the Nibelungenlied (that manga will begin being posted here as soon as I get some other things under control, not to mention a computer which doesn't need to visit Dr. Kevorkian). In the meanwhile, here is some additional information on the cast of characters, the world of Lita, and my thought process surrounding the project.
